The Daughters of the American Revolution is a world-wide service and lineage-based membership organization of women dedicated to promoting historic preservation, education, and patriotism.
Our organization has 119 years of success thanks to our members who continue to make contributions in their communities. DAR is unique and remarkable as it bonds our generations (Veterans, Baby Boomers, Gen X, and Gen Y) by honoring our past and embracing our future together.
Our state society works at the local level allowing us many opportunities to carry out the goals of the national society. We work with our youth through educational programs. We encourage our members to get involved in their communities. We assist with historic preservation and promote the preservation of local and family histories. We promote the ideals of patriotism by supporting our military men and women while residing in another country.
We encourage you to attend monthly meetings as often as you can so you can get to know the members, learn about the local activities supported by the National Society. and offer your volunteer interests.
